Dear Rommie, Martijn and kids, This year for the 2nd time on holiday at your cozy and cozy "Le petit domain de Touffailles". Our house Le Vignoble was fully equipped. In the morning a short walk to the local bakery for a delicious fresh baguette and chocolate roll to eat while enjoying the beautiful view over Touffailles. Plenty of nice villages and towns nearby to visit, even with small children. Lauzerte, the nearest town, is particularly nice. Rommie and Martijn also have many tips for days out. When you return, you can relax by the pool. The cozy garden offers many play options for the children: swing/climbing structure, sandpit, trampoline, table tennis table and a cupboard full of toys. The children make new friends so easily here, that you as a parent can relax and have a wonderful rest in a hammock or on your own private terrace. And don't forget......the pizza evening! Martijn lets the kids make their own pizza and makes a wide variety of delicious pizzas for the adults. Highly recommended! We enjoyed our stay with you again, Mayke, Bert and Maud.

Dear Rommie and Martijn, After 2 years it was time to post a review of your beautiful domain. The first 'official' guests... and we and our 2 children received such a warm and hearty welcome. Your domain has everything a holidaymaker needs: tranquility, hammocks, lovely terraces, a BBQ, a lovely spacious swimming pool and a dynamic duo for which nothing is really too much to ask. Coziness is an asset on your domain: candles, beautiful grape vines and more than enough of everything in our cottage le Grinoble: towels, washing machine, kitchen utensils. And what knowledge you have built up about the area... Nice tips we received. Highly recommended!! Thank you again very much for the top stay and above all: keep up the good work!! Celebrated our holiday last week at le Petit Domaine de Touffailles. What a fantastic week we had. Rommy, Martijn and the kids are very friendly and pleasant people. We stayed at Le Vignoble. A neat gite with all amenities. Also a great, cozy terrace. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the domain and the beautiful surroundings. In short: a great location to celebrate your holiday with the children. There is plenty of everything for the children on the domain and the area also offers many opportunities for excursions. back!

From 01/07 to 08/07 we were guests of Rommie and Martijn, the hospitable operators of the small-scale holiday domain, consisting of three cozy gites. We had the pleasure of staying in “Le Vignoble”, an authentic house with all necessary amenities. There is a bakery located +/- 150 meters from the domain where you can get delicious croissants, chocolate cakes and baguettes. Furthermore, the domain is an ideal base to explore the nearby villages and visit a classic market or “marché gourmand”. After the excursions, you can enjoy a refreshing splash in the pool upon your return. A pizza evening is organized as standard, the ideal opportunity to get to know the owners and other visitors and to enjoy the homemade pizzas of the on-duty pizzaiolo, Martijn. We have already had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed both the domain itself and the region. If the future allows, we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful holiday, the peace, space and plenty of excursions that are described in a folder. Cool off in the pool, also a small bath for the little ones, wonderful! There was also plenty of room for the kids to play on the property and the house and garden were fully equipped. The hospitality, thinking along and sometimes eating along was nice! Rommie and Martijn and their family are very hospitable and involved, but in a pleasant way. The (short walk) to the bakery every morning is a nice start to the day. Highly recommended for a nice holiday in beautiful surroundings! Lisette Tilmans - September 2022 * * * * * Together with our two children aged 3 years and 8 months, we were guests of Rommie and Martijn. We really enjoyed the beautiful and complete accommodation. Everything is there for a pleasant stay, both inside the gite and outside in the garden. Le Petit Domaine is child-friendly and has a beautiful (and very clean) swimming pool. There is also plenty to see and do in the area, but it is not overly touristy. Rommie and Martijn are helpful and have good tips, but they also let you go your own way. We will definitely come back!

For the second year in a row we have stayed at the Domaine for a week. That might say enough ;) A well-equipped apartment in a nice location with a nice pool, in a beautiful, quiet area. Rommie and Martijn make sure you feel right at home. They are socially oriented, but you can also feel free to go your own way. It's good to stay here!

The four of us stayed for a week with Rommie and Martijn. Super cozy, clean and well equipped cottage. Always nice to have basic products such as olive oil, salt and pepper and coffee filters. The washing machine near the house (also with all necessary products) is very nice. Grounds are very nice. Even with young children (our youngest is 2 years old) it is fine to do with the stairs and pebbles. Children quickly feel at home there. You notice that Rommie and Martijn have young children of their own and know exactly what you need as parents. Bed, chair, coloring books and markers on arrival, play equipment, etc. In addition, they are also very hospitable. Pizza evening is indeed highly recommended, especially with the campfire as a closing. We found the temperature (around 30 degrees) delicious. In the evening and night it cools down so that you are not bothered by it at all. Environment is beautiful and plenty to do in terms of trips. In short, highly recommended!

We spent a week with our family in le Vignoble. Very much enjoyed the beautiful spot, the nice surroundings and the very nice house. Everything is there! Very nice with kids. And of course we did a lot of splashes in the pool. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice holiday in le Vignoble with our family! The cottage was bigger than expected. Really equipped with everything and super neat! Fall in love with the beautiful large grapevine at the house where we have always eaten. Relax in the many hammocks on the domain. Despite the heat, it remained quite cool inside and the mosquito nets were a great added value. The authentic style has been preserved, but with a nice modern touch and fully equipped. We had the bathroom and kitchen package with it and afterwards I regretted that we had not opted for the bed linen either ... super easy that you should not carry it with you! The pool has plenty of sunbeds, nice and quiet in the green surroundings. There are also plenty of play opportunities for the children. Hospitality a big compliment! We immediately felt at home on the beautiful domain of Martijn and Rommie and the kids. The pizza night is definitely recommended, tasty and cozy! We have been home for a few days and already miss it!

A beautiful French Jewel,

Actually, I'm always looking for gems that make my life beautiful and extra beautiful, but you rarely come across them. In my greatest fantasies I could never have imagined that I would one day find a pearl in France. However, I was allowed to spend the last 2 weeks on a small but fantastic holiday domain in Touffailles located between the rivers Lot & Garonne. There are three well-furnished authentic apartments which are equipped with all modern conveniences, including a swimming pool and all kinds of play equipment for children on the domain. If you search very carefully and are very lucky, you will sometimes find that more often, but what makes this holiday domain a jewel are the hostess Rommie & host Martijn and their three children. After a very friendly welcome, nothing was too much for them to make our stay a party, tips about beautiful sights and tasty restaurants, we didn't even have to ask for it. The host Martijn also turned out to be a great artisan pizza baker, together with the entire family and the other (Belgian) guests we had a very nice and pleasant evening around the pizza oven. Rommie and Martijn you have really made Le Petit domaine de Touffailles a beautiful holiday piece of jewelry where it is wonderful to stay, which we would like to come and enjoy again.

We had a wonderful week at Le Vignoble. It was a nice house with a nice decor. Everything you need is there. Very complete. The area is beautiful with many nice villages and markets. Rommie and Martijn understand the art of hospitality. They are very pleasant to contact. Which is also nice that you can walk to the bakery to buy fresh bread and delicious croissants   The pool was lovely, not to mention the hammocks. We didn't know it was so good. There is a relaxed atmosphere at petit domaine. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful holiday in le vignoble! It is a comfortable gite with everything you need. Two lovely terraces where you can sit / lie in the sun as well as in the shade. Had a great week in le Vignoble. Attractively furnished gite of hospitable owners who are always ready for questions, but who give you all the privacy. The Tarn is a beautiful area with villages, sunflower fields, lakes and rivers. Toufailles is a small village, but with a bakery, a football field, bowling alley, restaurant/cafe (not open every day), all very friendly. Le Petit Domaine consists of 3 gites with a nice swimming pool, play areas for the children and a ping pong table. We had a wonderful week.

Le Vignoble at Le Petit Domaine exudes atmosphere and hospitality, which made that we had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this beautiful green region. Chapeau to Martijn and Rommie who know how to cherish the authentic details and yet have provided the gite with all modern comforts! For a terrace you have to go to a village further, but the possibilities are endless. We will definitely come back again!
