What a wonderful holiday we had! We stayed in Le Tournesol for a week in July. This cottage has everything you need! There is also an information folder that is very useful for planning your stay. This way we could see where there was a (night) market and where we could possibly eat something. The various recommended villages in the area are also included in the map. We visited a village/city every day and every city was super beautiful. Very picturesque villages, beautiful castle, nice city walks,... In the late afternoon we dived into the lovely swimming pool and our son (4 years old) could play to his heart's content. The bakery down the street is highly recommended. There is also a fairly large supermarket in a nearby town where you can find everything. Martijn and Rommie are super sweet and are ready to help you or give you tips. If you like a quiet environment with lots of fun for children and many lovely villages to visit, Le petit domaine is the right place for you!! In any case, we thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Rommie & Martijn, We had a wonderful holiday in a house equipped with all (children's) necessities on a beautiful domain with a nice swimming pool in beautiful surroundings! Definitely recommended if you are looking for a stay with children in a quiet rural area where there is plenty to see and do. The extensive information folder contains many good tips! You are pleasant owners who do their utmost to ensure you have a pleasant stay.

We had such a wonderful time with Rommie, Martijn and the children! The domaine is located in a village, so the bakery is close by. It is a quiet village with very friendly people. The domaine is situated in such a way that you have a lot of peace and space. We rented gite Tournesol...this house is fully equipped. Fridge/freezer, super working oven, all kinds of kitchen utensils. You lack nothing. Everything nicely decorated. Lots for the children to do on site. All kinds of toys are available for outside, the lovely swimming pool, hammocks, sandbox, swing, etc. Also at the pool all kinds of things are available to use in the pool. At the pool you can purchase drinks, chips, ice cream, etc! Top! Rommie, Martijn and the children are very hospitable and pleasant. The evenings of eating pizza together are well organized and again completely complete. Don't want to participate? Also fine. Nothing is necessary. Lots to do in the area. Tips are given by Rommie and Martijn and even the children (thnx Tom, for the tip about the fun climbing park).

- Visited markets in Montcuq and other places

- restaurant Le couvent in Belaye ❤️, overlooking the Lot! - and so much more!

All in all, 3 weeks of great fun! From the hospitality, the nice living environment, all the beautiful places in the area, the great weather, the lovely people in the area who tried to understand us while we were practicing our French😅, in short: Enjoyed! The area has stolen our hearts!

At the end of June we were able to stay for a week in this nice and very nice place. The gite was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Each gite has a lovely spot outside and the communal areas are also fantastic. There is a lot available for a stay with small children, such as toys, bed, etc. If you have small children, this is the place for a nice carefree stay! In addition, Martijn & Rommie (and the kids) are very friendly, sociable and are always there for you. The last joint evening with homemade pizza was the perfect end to our holiday! Thanks again for everything!

It was very nice to visit here! A small-scale environment, perfect for families with children. Get fresh bread within walking distance, drive a short distance to visit a market or a castle. Feeling like you live in France. Martijn and Rommie and their family are very hospitable. The pizza evening they organize is definitely recommended, a highlight of our holiday. Which is also nice; There is a book with all kinds of tips, including many vegetarian restaurants.

At the end of May we stayed for a week at Le Petit Domaine du Touffailles with our son (1 year old). The domain is small-scale and super cozy. We immediately got the feeling of France. It is located on a hill in the middle of the village and within walking distance of a bakery. There is a lot to do for children. Of course the swimming pool, but there is also a play area with slide, swing and sandbox, plenty of toys, table tennis table, football, etc. In short, plenty of entertainment! We stayed in the characteristic gite Le Tournesol and it is fully equipped and clean. There was also a high chair, cot and changing mat for our son. You can also use the washing machine and dryer in a shared room. Rommie & Martijn and their sweet, fun kids are the friendly hosts. They are very helpful and have nice tips. And you can also challenge them to a game of table tennis 😉. Thank you for the wonderful stay, you have a wonderful place!

All the ingredients for the ideal holiday are here. After a very relaxing summer holiday in 2021, we therefore returned last autumn holiday. The surroundings are beautiful, just like the 'domaine' itself. Cozy seating areas, hammocks, swimming pool, lots of greenery and tranquility. Our children (12, 10 and 7) had a great time and we found a nice balance between relaxation and fun trips in the area. And not unimportant: the house (Le Tournesol) has all amenities, beds are wonderful and everything is very clean.

Perfect location to relax with small children. The cottages are fully equipped and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Children can play on the trampoline, in the sandbox, the climbing frame with slide and swing (which can be seen from the pool). The well-fenced swimming pool should of course not be forgotten. The garden is very atmospheric because of the many cozy sitting and hanging spots. Bakker is a 2-minute walk away. Rommie and Martijn's hospitality makes you feel right at home. The pizza evening where children can make their own pizza is highly recommended! In short, highly recommended for families with children

What a wonderful place to spend a holiday. It is a celebration because everything has been thought of. Cottages complete, grounds clean and pool great for relaxing. We were there as a family and had several cottages that week, there was something for everyone. Enough space on the domaine. And if your child likes fishing, this is an extra nice touch. Downstairs an ideal fishing spot. In short: a must to spend your holiday time with the cozy family in Touffailles.

We had the best 2 weeks holiday at Le Petit Domaine. The location is just perfect, on top of a hill with walking trails on the doorstep and a bakery walking distance away in the village. The area is stunning with sunflower fields and cute historic villages in abundance. But there is enough to do at the Domaine too, like relaxing at the pool and lying in a hammock. To top it all off: Rommie and Martijn are the best hosts, making sure we had all we needed to make our first holiday with 4 month old baby unforgettable. Don’t miss out on Martijn’s cooking, incl pizza’s!!!! We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Le Petit Domain de Touffailles. Our 3 kids (5m, 2 and 4y) also had a great time with tom, Ties and Emma and all the toys (trampoline, sandbox, swing ...). We have not done many towns (not so handy with 3 small children), but there is a wide range in the area. The cottage was in tip-top shape (even dishwashing cubes and sponges were provided). The washing machine was also a big plus for us, so we could wash bibs in between. Be sure to join the table on pizza night. Martijn makes very tasty pizzas in the wood oven. Very pleasant evening. We will definitely come back.

Le petit domaine is located in a paradisiacal spot, between lovely hills in the middle of beautiful, mostly medieval towns. The cottages are comfortable and tastefully decorated and even at the end of October it was still lovely to sit in the garden. An ideal place to spend a holiday like God in France with family or friends!

Look no further....book! How we enjoyed it! A week was really short. This hideaway is great with lots of cozy corners and seats and a great pool. The cottage has been furnished with great taste and love and fortunately has retained its authenticity. The environment is great, really one of the nicer regions in France where there is something for everyone. Rommie and Martijn are happy to help you with tips. In short, a place to return to for sure.

Together with our 2 children aged 7 and 10, we had a very nice holiday at this place. Our children have played with those of the owners all the time on the trampoline, in the lovely swimming pool, at the kicker table, etc... The cottage is beautifully decorated and has retained its authenticity! All kitchen utensils are provided! The owners are also a great asset of this domain, they are very hospitable where you can always go for tips in the area and also show interest in the trips of the other guests. Finally, they also give you enough privacy. The region is definitely recommended, there are plenty of beautiful towns in the area and there are plenty of water fun opportunities. What we especially appreciated is that it was nowhere a surprise, especially compared to the Dordogne.

What a wonderfully relaxing holiday we had with our daughters aged 7 and 9 on the atmospheric domaine. The hospitality, authentic atmosphere, comfort (a perfectly equipped kitchen, wonderful beds!), game and play facilities, the beautiful swimming pool and the picturesque surroundings have ensured an unforgettable holiday. Superlatives shortage! We will definitely come back!

What a fantastic holiday! We enjoyed a lot with our children (11, 9 and 6 years old). The area is beautiful with beautiful sunflower fields and cute villages with beautiful authentic houses. And then the house .... fully equipped. More luxurious than we are used to. Lovely beds, all the kitchen utensils you can think of (such as an immersion blender) and even a dishwasher. The bathroom will be replaced soon, but was already fine. Good shower spray, which we always like. The whole 'petit domaine' exudes relaxation. With many cozy corners, hammocks, campfire, play equipment for the children (okay, we also played fanatically ...) and of course the lovely swimming pool which is large and deep enough to swim some lengths. Our children played outside all the time, together with the three children of Rommie and Martijn and with the children of other guests. Rommie and Martijn clearly enjoy making sure the holes can enjoy themselves. We can't really think of any negatives or tips. In short, a wonderful relaxing holiday and highly recommended!
